Crime of the Week: Suspicious Death – Tony Vaillancourt

Crime Stoppers, the West District RCMP and the New Brunswick RCMP’s Major Crime Unit, are looking for information in the suspicious death of a 42 year old man from Morell Siding, New Brunswick.

On May 6, 2017, Tony Vaillancourt was reported missing to the West District RCMP. He had not been in contact with friends or family since April 9, 2017. On August 2, 2017 a body was recovered from the Saint John River close to Tobique Narrows, New Brunswick. An autopsy and further investigation has positively identified the remains as those of Mr. Tony Vaillancourt and determined his death was suspicious. Police are continuing their investigation
